Join Zara Angeline, opened by Poppy Worlidge, for a night of beautiful, heart-stirring pop and folk music, with reflective, soulful lyricism. Featuring untold stories of the inspiration and messages behind the songs, including the chance to be the first to hear unreleased music.
Zara is an emerging 21 year old singer and songwriter based between St Albans and Cheshire, creating music that shines a light on the beauty and hope amidst the melancholy. With influences ranging from ABBA to Leonard Cohen, Zara’s music combines catchy pop-ballad melodies with the thoughtfulness and depth of folk music. Her lyricism reaches towards the poetic and sacred, exploring the coming-of-age journey and its existential questions on love, loss and living well. With pure, soaring vocals and emotionally honest performances, Zara reaches straight to the heart.
Having performed at respected venues including Phoenix Arts Club and Ludlow Castle, Zara makes her debut headline in St Albans this July, in celebration of her next single ‘If I Do Nothing’, produced by Paddy Byrne (Paloma Faith, Tom Grennan).
