For last minute enquiries relating to tickets or performances, please call 07471 173283. Please note our telephone line is only staffed from 1 hour before a performance. At all other times you will be asked to leave a message and we may not respond until the next scheduled performance time.

Hire our spaces
All the spaces in The Maltings Theatre are available to hire for classes, events, meetings, parties, weddings, funerals, filming, rehearsals and just about anything else you can think of. We are centrally located, adjacent to car parking and fully accessible. To find out more email us.
Visiting Companies
The Roman Theatre of Verulamium is run primarily as a producing venue. We do not normally receive touring productions and where we present other people’s work it will normally be in partnership with associate companies with whom we develop a long term relationship, or by invitation or commission. If you would like to discuss working in partnership with us, please email our Associate Director, Kelly Stewart.
The Maltings Theatre is available for touring and local community companies to hire for performance. If you are interested in hiring the theatre for performance, please email us.
New plays for performance
We do not accept submissions of new plays for performance. Please do not send us unsolicited manuscripts as we do not have the resources to read or review them.
