A selection of new music featuring Nia & the Gramophones, The Caution Horses and Katie Lobatto.

Presented by K&F Promotions.

Better known as new music champion currently residing on the Jazz FM airwaves, Nia Visser is stepping out in front of Nia & the Gramophones with her self-penned soulful selections. Aretha Franklin meets Norah Jones, Nia and her four piece band will take you on a journey of love and redemption via toe tapping grooves and gentle ballads. Drawing from a rotating pool of incredible musicians, tonight’s Gramophones will feature Alex Anderson and Ian Morcher of R&B/Rock band APRIL BLUE, and Rash – the inimitable guitarist and songwriter. The perfect, chilled soundtrack for a summer’s evening.

Nia & the Gramophones will be joined by local legends The Caution Horses, whose harmony-driven country pop has been thrilling audiences in St Albans and beyond for many years. The family duo of Ray and Lauren Fox play a wide range of well known covers spanning the last sixty years, plus their own original songs. With rich vocal harmonies and inventive re-workings of well-known hits, fans of country, pop, blues, folk, rock and beyond are sure to be up and dancing.

Opening the show will be Katie Lobatto – a soulful singer-songwriter who originates from St. Albans. She performs professionally in and around London as one half of the popular duo Katie Plus Juan. She will be singing songs from their recent album ‘Solitaire’ released in 2023. Not to be missed!
