This year’s festival runs from 6th June to 31st August. The centrepiece of the programme will be five OVO shows:
- A 1970s musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, transporting audiences to the glittering, hustling, hip-swivelling age of classic disco.
- A new version of The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s brilliant fable of the hedonistic excess and tragic reality of 1920s America, complete with a live jazz soundtrack.
- Les Misérables, Victor Hugo’s epic story of love, injustice and atonement – if you think you already know it from the all conquering Cameron Mackintosh musical, you’re in for an unexpected treat.
- OVO’s Youth Ensemble presents Lord of the Flies, William Golding’s unforgettable classic of boyhood adventure and the savagery of humanity, following last year’s critically acclaimed The Secret Garden.
- Hamlet, in association with Roman Theatre favourites The Pantaloons – with live music, audience interaction and brevity-boosting abridgements, there’s only one question: To be there, or to be square?
The programme also features a range of other theatre and live music events including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by Act4 Productions, a solo show by Mark Morriss, frontman of The Bluetones, and an evening of The Rolling Stones music with the Ver Players ukulele group and live 80s band, Our Friends Electric with more to be announced.
Our 2025 Season Ticket includes unlimited tickets to the 5 listed theatre shows, discounts on all other shows and at our bar, free ticket exchange and our e-newsletter. All this is available for £75.
Our 2025 Premium Season Ticket includes unlimited tickets to all theatre and music shows, complimentary drinks and snacks, access to our new premium seating area and 2 free tickets for friends or family. All this is available for £225.
